There may be substantiated concerns that a child has suffered significant harm but it is agreed between the agencies most involved and the child and family, that a plan for ensuring the child’s future safety and welfare can be developed and implemented without having a child protection conference or a child protection plan. Such an approach will be of particular relevance where it is clear to the agencies involved that there is the child is not continuing to suffer, or be likely to suffer, significant harm.
