Welcome to our new look child protection procedures. These have the same content but are now compliant with the National Guidance for Child Protection in Scotland (2010) and also contain an intelligent search facility. This means that you can search for any issue but the engine will only look at accredited sites. This reduces the irrelevant content that you may find on popular search engines and makes your research much easier. Both facilities are available at the top right of this screen.
The original procedures have been updated many times. We are more than happy to have comments about them, both good and bad. Please send your thoughts to Ruby Parry, ruby.parry@reconstruct.co.uk

We have developed a knowledge and understanding check to affirm your understanding of the procedures. Please browse the procedures to get a feel for how they work and ensure you know what to do if you are worried a child is being abused or neglected.
