All staff have an important role in promoting the safety and welfare of children. Procedures are established for the management of child protection concerns. These are set out in the document “Code of Safe Working Practice for those involved in sport.”
Any concerns should be reported immediately to the appropriate line manager, who will take advice if necessary from the Local Authority.
Every concern should be recorded regardless of the action taken.
