A written record of the strategy discussion/meeting must be made on the Strategy Discussion Record, and should include:
- the reason for the meeting
- the information that has been shared
- the decisions reached, with action points for identified individuals and agreed time scales
- the basis for those decisions
- an agreed date for a review meeting or discussion
- who in this review meeting, or through other mechanisms, will monitor the completion of the action points
The record of the discussion will be circulated to all the parties to the discussion within one working day, and Children’s Social Care will inform other agencies working directly with the child of any decisions that may have a significant impact on the child.
